NOTICE TO PARENTS OF NON-PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS: North Merrick parents are reminded that New York State Law requires a written transportation request annually by April 1st from parents or guardians of students (Grades K-6) who plan to attend private or parochial schools.

Hope for Haiti
North Merrick UFSD is very proud of the 720 students who submitted entries to the Superintendent's Hope for Haiti Challenge. In addition to the 720 "challenge" dollars that were donated by the Superintendent's Challenge Team, $899 were donated by the North Merrick Community! Our total donation: $1,619!!
Facilities Update Meeting Held
On Saturday, January 9, 2010, the Board of Education held a facilities update work session with the full administrative team. Mr. James Saitta, Director of Buildings and Operations, provided a very comprehensive PowerPoint presentation.
