Grade Levels

During Character Education Week, students in all grades learn the importance of good character.  Each grade is assigned a specific character trait and activities are done during the week to emphasize the importance of all children demonstrating these characteristics.  The character traits discussed are: Friendship, Citizenship, Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Caring, and Fairness.  The “Keys to Good Character” bulletin board is dedicated to the pillars of character discussed in this program.  Each grade level has a door represented on the board with their assigned character education trait.  Students in each grade who demonstrate good character will be presented with a key which will be displayed on their grade’s door.  This will promote and celebrate good character across all grades.
