As an art teacher, it is my goal to teach my students to become creative thinkers. By experimenting with new mediums, learning artistic skills, and having a creative outlet, students are able to think outside the box. This type of divergent thinking encourages students to relate visual knowledge to other core subjects and to respond with originality, appreciation, flexibility and imagination.
