Bucket Filler

Classwide P.B.I.S.

  • The students within our classroom utilize a class-wide Positive Behavior Intervention System (P.B.I.S.) based upon the book, Have You Filled a Bucket Today? By Carol McCloud.  Early in the year, our class enjoys this wonderful read aloud as we learn about what it means to be a "bucket filler".  Our students learn that bucket fillers are students who make good choices for themselves and towards their friends.  Students are positively reinforced by earning a star in their bucket when they are "caught" being a bucket filler during the school day!
