Welcome everyone to my classroom.  It is so wonderful to have the opportunity to work with so many great students and parents. 

I am so excited to be working with the little ones this year.  I have been a learning resource teacher in the district for over 21 years, working with every grade level in elementary school.  I love working with many different grade levels.  I love seeing the huge leaps and bounds they make in their learning.  My focus will be on a multi-sensory approach to learning which includes learning about letters, sounds, sight words, blending sounds to make words, writing, sentence formation, reading fluency and comprehension using a variety of materials.  We will also we working on recognition of numbers, gaining numbers sense with understanding the values of numbers, comparing, and building upon problem solving skills.    

I am looking forward to an amazing year :)
