It was a momentous occasion for the Harold D. Fayette School Class of 2026 as sixth graders celebrated their final moments in elementary school during their moving up ceremony on June 25.
 
Opening the ceremony, Kristen Haldeman and Sarah Moore led the flag salute and sang “Star Spangled Banner.” Students in the Color Guard and Student Council led the transfer of colors before Principal Dr. Christine Talbot, Board President Megan Ryan, Esq., and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Cynthia Seniuk welcomed guests and congratulated the graduates. 

Sixth graders Gabriela Solecki and Sofia Klein spoke to their peers about continuing to overcome obstacles in the future. Students rose to perform “A Million Dreams” and “Best Day of My Life” before teachers began the presentation of diplomas. With bright smiles, students showed their excitement for the future as they officially marked their first day as middle schoolers.
