Ladybugs show the cycle of life at Camp Avenue

Kindergartners at Camp Avenue Elementary School in the North Merrick School District have been “bugging out” over ladybugs as they observed their lifecycle from egg to adult. 

Mrs. Moore’s kindergarten class explored the fascinating lifecycle of ladybugs, watching them grow in their classroom from egg to larva to adult. After carefully observing each stage, the class proudly released the ladybugs back into their natural habitat, learning firsthand how insects play an important role in our environment.
