North Merrick families celebrate strong bonds during Night to Connect

North Merrick School District’s monthly Night to Connect event returned on Feb. 26, uniting families in an evening to celebrate their strong ties.

Night to Connect is a districtwide initiative designed to give families one worry-free night each month, free from homework and filled with quality time together. Students and their loved ones from Camp Avenue, Harold D. Fayette and Old Mill Road schools tune in to share their family activity, whether it’s a game night, baking, crafting or sledding in the snow. Each school’s PTA regularly fundraises through partnerships with local community eateries, giving families a chance to support their PTA while enjoying an easy night of dining in. Night to Connect is a reminder of the importance of spending quality time with those closest to you through engaging activities.
