North Merrick staff honored ahead of the school year

Before the start of the 2024-25 school year in the North Merrick School District, educators with years of dedication and service under their belts received praise during Superintendent Dr. Cynthia Seniuk’s conference day on Aug. 28.

Faculty and staff were greeted by Dr. Seniuk before receiving certificates recognizing their time spent in the district. Certificates were given to those employees who have achieved five, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years across North Merrick schools. Administrators were proud to commend the skilled faculty and staff for their remarkable loyalty to students. The day also featured professional development opportunities, including an overview of technology and safety and a guided relaxation activity.
