North Merrick staff honored for years of service

The North Merrick School District recognized staff members for their dedication and commitment to students, schools and the community during the Superintendent’s Opening Day Convocation on Aug. 26.

Staff were honored in groups based on their years of service, including those who have dedicated 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years to the district. The celebration recognized the countless contributions these staff members have made throughout their careers and highlighted the lasting impact of their work on generations of students. Each honoree has played an important role in helping the district provide meaningful learning experiences and a supportive environment for students.

“At its heart, that means focusing on what matters most: strong relationships, high expectations, great teaching, clear communication and making sure every student, faculty member and staff member feels known, supported and appreciated,” Superintendent Dr. Cynthia Seniuk said.

The district congratulates all honorees and thanks them for their continued service, dedication and commitment to the school community.
