Old Mill Road’s budding artists display work in county exhibition

Three students at Old Mill Road School in the North Merrick School District had their artwork chosen and displayed for the annual All County Art Exhibition. 

First grader Maximo Cajamarca, fourth grader Neve Forlenza and fifth grader Marin Gonzalez had their work nominated by art teacher Jessica Marciana. Their pieces feature different artistic practices used to create springtime flowers, splatters of paint and a chalk-like drawing that channels realism. The 21st annual All County Art Exhibition was held at Herricks High School on March 9.
