One hundred days are just the start in North Merrick

Kindergartners throughout the district had a blast dressing as centenarians while parents visited their school to join the fun. A wide variety of activities were enjoyed during the day, such as stacking 100 cups, painting 100 dots and doing 100 exercises. Each classroom was bustling with activity as students recounted their math skills to find 100 in multiple ways, including weighing objects and combining colored blocks representing different values. The 100^th day of school, celebrated every year in North Merrick Schools, is just the start to a great year for every student.
