Guidance Counselors design and deliver school counseling programs that improve student outcomes. Through the school counseling program, guidance counselors ensure equitable academic, career and social/emotional development opportunities for all students.
All students in grades kindergarten to sixth receive classwide school counseling lessons. All lessons are aligned to meet the standards of The American School Counseling Association and follow CASEL framework.
Students engage in informative and engaging lessons with the school counselor several times a year covering different topics based on grade level including:
