• The Bellmore-Merrick Childcare Program is a not-for-profit organization established to provide a nurturing and supportive environment before and after the school day for children in North Bellmore and North Merrick. Each of the three North Merrick schools are centers for before- and after-school care.

The before-school program begins at 7:15 a.m. on school days. Children may bring their own peanut/tree nut-free breakfast and engage in games, drawing, and interacting with friends before the start of school.

The after-school program begins after dismissal until 5:30 p.m. on school days. Children enjoy a warm, relaxed atmosphere in which qualified staff supervise a diverse program including snack, active games, gym, arts and crafts, and outdoor play. Children may also do homework at any time after snack is served.

Enrollment is completed online and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to capacity limits, there may be a waiting list for each school.
