HDF Participates in Digital Citizenship Week, Red Ribbon Week, and Unity Day

H.D. Fayette had a busy week October 18-22 with Red Ribbon Week, Unity Day and Digital Citizenship Week activities.

Teachers shared resources with students so they can demonstrate being good online citizens.

The annual Red Ribbon Week advocates and educates students about drug prevention with a different dress-up theme each day.

At HDF, Monday, students wore sweatpants and sweatshirts and got some exercise at recess for "Living Drug Free is No Sweat."

On Tuesday, students sported their team shirts or jerseys for "Stay in the Game and Be Drug Free."

Wednesday was Unity Day, in which the school showed its unity wearing orange for kindness, acceptance and inclusion to stop bullying and cyberbullying.

On Thursday, HDF was awash in tie-die and bright colors for "Peace Out to Drugs."

On Friday, everyone came to school in their school shirts or colors for the finale, "Our School Chooses to be Drug Free!"
