Dr. Irene H. Lenhart Awards 2023
North Merrick students in grades 1 through 6 were recognized for their achievement in writing, music and arts at the annual Dr. Irene H. Lenhart Awards Night on June 12 at Merrick Avenue Middle School.
Awards included Excellence in Writing, Outstanding Growth in Writing; PTA Reflections Finalists for Music Composition, Film Production, and the Visual Arts; All County Band, Chorus and Orchestra, and the Long Island String Festival.
